ITE Vision
To be the transportation organization of choice.

The Institute of Transportation Engineers Arkansas Section (ARITE) was established in 2016 that serves transportation professionals in Arkansas. It operates through two main geographic regions and offers educational and networking events to its members throughout the year. The ARITE section is affiliated with the Missouri Valley (MOVITE) District of ITE.
The goals of the ARITE section revolve around three core objectives:
-
Education and Networking: ARITE holds quarterly membership educational meetings in addition to a variety of networking events throughout the year. Topics generally range from emerging transportation technologies to regional planning and geometric design principles. The ITE organization as a whole also hosts numerous continuing education workshops and trainings.
-
Leadership and Governance: The ARITE Board includes both officers and regional representative roles from both the Northwest and Central Arkansas regions to ensure membership is represented across the geography.
-
Branding and Promotion: ARITE participated in an organizational rebranding effort, recently rebranding the section logo to feature Arkansas landmarks. In addition, the section continually updates it social media platforms for awareness to its members.
